DescriptionHere is my 2024 CAF highlight. In 2023, I saw that Mark Armstong will be at a local convention in the States. So I hopped on the plane, internationally, and simply flew there. It was wonderful to meet Mark Armstrong for the first time. As you all know, I am a huge fan of all things Spider-Ham, so this meant a lot to me. Mark drew a great Spider-Ham sketch for me and in 2024 I asked Jose Albelo if he would be interested in inking the piece. The two of them have not worked together for close to 40 years, so it was very special for all involved. The result is what I present you here. Hope you all like it as much as I do. Wishing you all the very best for 2025 ! Stay healthy. Social/Sharing |

Outstanding! Mark's issues of Spider-Ham are top notch. So great to see this art team paired again after all this time.

Nice! And how much does Andy's charge to clean and press a suit?

Cool, you noticed the little easter egg. This was Joe Albelo who added this gag, he did a great job with the inking.

You jumped on a plane and flew from Europe, across the Atlantic Ocean, to the United States just so you could meet Mark Armstrong at a convention? Now THAT is a true FANATIC! Great piece. I hope your laundromat is thriving. Best wishes for a healthy and happy 2025!

Indeed, that's exactly what I did, and trust me (but you all know this as well as you probably have done similar things), this is certainly not the only crazy story I have !

A heartwarming story showing how deep your love for this character and it’s creators is. I bow my head. And I assume the artists where thrilled, too, telling this story now within their families.
Well done!

You definitely went the extra mile (hundreds of them actually) to add this total gem to your collection. I love everything about the image, and it's so cool that you were able to bring two artists together once again who hadn't worked together for 40 years. Congrats on this 2024 Highlight --- and Happy New Year!
