Technically this is the virgin variant cover to the Amazing Spider-man #6 but for legacy numbering, this is issue 900.
From this issue -- Someone from Spider-Man's past has captured the Sinister Six and used them to create the truly terrifying SINISTER ADAPTOID!

I've been a huge fan of John Cassaday's since I was captivated by the art on his now iconic Astonishing X-men run. I am also fond of his Planetary, Agents of S.W.O.R.D. and Union Jack books as well.

I'm a die-hard Amazing Spider-man fan. When Albert Moy posted this art for sale I didn't catch it until a day later and by then -- I missed it.

Fast forward to June 2024 and to my surprise it showed up on my CAF want list mail! I reached out to the owner, set terms and slowly chipped away at paying it off.

Unfortunately John passed just days after I did. I feel blessed to own such an iconic cover by a legendary artist from my favorite series of all time.

Thank you to Ryan for his payment patience and for letting this piece go.

I can't wait to get it up on the wall here at the house.
(will get a better image up that's not watermark-on-watermark once I get in front of a scanner)
