What a piece! And I mean Black Canary, although this isn't too bad either!!! ;) We are all jealous, but congratulations. Keep mining this well, it will never run dry.

Absolutely amazing. This could be published on a cover, it's just that good. Terrific piece, hopefully hanging proudly on display.

Certainly one for the framing store - and whereas i know what you mean about Perez-like, it's very distinctive PMS and doesn't need any sort of comparator - Smitty is IMHO as wonderful an artist as George....

This was already a home run, but the sight gag takes it to grand-slam territory... thanks for sharing!

I love how it almost tells a story by itself. Batman was obviously thought dead but pulled the team's fat out of the fire at the last minute, thus the grin on his face, Superman's look of surprise, relief and joy and WW's "How could we have ever doubted you" posture. Intrestingly, you can see a similar story with Zatanna, Flash and GL, though their relationship and reactions are obviously different from the Big 3's. Then there's Oliver, happy to have won and probably not a little horny, almost oblivious to the melancholy of Dinah who sees the destructive results of the victory a little differently from her more teammates.

The humor of this makes it a masterpiece- Superman telling his story to Batman (with silent commentary by Wonder Woman, while Ollie ogles Black Canary and Hal and Barry attempt to impress Zatana... Smith makes Superheroes seem like real people with these subtle gestures. Fantastic in every possible way!
