Love this one. From a technical standpoint, love the heavy blacks and effective use of line weights. But it's really the design and composition aspects that ultimately attract me. Really beautiful drawing.

Agreed! One of my favorite aspects of Usagi is the existence of nature. Elsa did an amazing job putting flowers and a butterfly in the foreground.

Beautiful commission. I saw some of the abandoned concepts she posted on Instagram and wondered what the final would be. Again, Elsa did not disappoint. Huge congrats!

I think the flowers and butterfly are the stars of this piece as Charretier aimed to accentuate the harmonious traditional Japanese line art drawings of flowers and nature. Usagi provides an excellent counterpoint in the background.
