These pieces from McKone are SO GOOD.
Why are these not a set of trading cards!?!?

The colors really pop right off the board. Beautiful piece.

This is just plain awesome. McKone is quickly becoming one of favorites for color and tone. The balance of the flock of blonde hair against the cool blue and purples - and then on top of it all, the pose, the anatomy, the rendering all top notch! Congrats on this!

Beautiful Johnny, congratulations. McKone is a master, and these paintings need gathered in an art book or variant cover set. 🍻

Deep down in Tatiana's TD Art Gallery
It's Batgirl in the woods McKone the Stephanie
I could not imagine, buy it if I could
Where lived a country boy named Johnny Mc. Goode
Who never ever bought the artwork just to sell
But he could collect artwork under blue and purple spell
Go go
Buy Johnny go go
Go Johnny go go
Buy Johnny go go
Go Johnny go go
Johnny this' Good

Damn it! I was just in the middle of rewriting Johnny Be Good, when I stopped and decided to first check and see if you might've already posted a song, and of course you did and it's the same song!
Okay, I guess I'll just take the opportunity to say that I love these McKone watercolor illustrations and I really dig this design much more than the one from her appearance on the Robin #4 cover you own, Johnny. Nice get!

There's always a second verse, not same as the first.
He used to worry he will miss when McKone's back
Go hit refresh TD Art and sip cognac
Oh, the engineers would see him sitting in the shade
Clicking with the rhythm until the orders made
The people praising art they see and exclaim
"Oh my what Ruben DaCollector would say"

Haha. The only problem with the Robin #4 cover is the artist that drew it ;) J/K The real problem is with DC for moving Grummett to Superboy and off of Robin!

Well as you know, I really love the Superboy work so I'm glad he sacrificed Robin for it!

It's me, I did it. So glad you got this piece, perfect for your collection. And technically you are still responsible for me spending more (my house) than I'm responsible for you buying HA

We're addicts and love art too much! It was really great seeing you this week, let's grab lunch next time. Grats on the new art (hope you frame this one!) and I'm so happy to live close to you.

I love McKone's pencil and ink work but these colors are a whole nuther level of goodness. McKone and color is like peanut butter and chocolate - they're just better together! Congrats!

Mike is just killing it on these. Loved this one, especially the colors. The purples are so eye catching. Tatiana just shipped mine yesterday. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
