DescriptionWhen I heard that they were going to put these two characters together as the Batgirls and have Barbara Gordon lead them as Oracle, I was more that elated! It was the perfect pairing and a great sign of things to come.I instantly knew that I would have to do everything I could to go after this cover by Jorge, who I personally knew and had purchased plenty of art from. When I saw it for the fist time, the issue to #1 had just come out, and the OA for the cover was a little more than I was able to justify. So, I did the responsible thing, passed on it and spent way too much money on interiors and splashes. Haha. Fast forward a few months, I was presented with the opportunity to buy it again. This time is was priced within my budget and I jumped on it. I messaged John J on CAF and told him that I am not willing to part with a DWJ Murder Falcon page that he had wanted and was able to make both him an myself very happy. This is such a great community of collectors. John has since gotten all my MF pages from me ;) Social/Sharing |

Fantastic action-packed cover for Batgirls #1! Gorgeous work by Jorge Corona! It's just fun, playful cover with the two Batgirls doing their Batgirl thing. Love the fun poses Jorge used here, they really convey the spirit of the comic. And the beautifully detailed cityscape is first rate! What a terrific pick-up, congrats!
