Alternate Earths???!!! Let the confusion begin. I did a lot of research and tried to make some sense of it all. Like any alternate universe...it doesn't cohesively come together.

Earth 11- An alternate reality where everyone is gender-reversed. Superwoman instead of Superman. Batwoman instead of Batman and Wonderous Man instead Wonder Woman!

Here we see our Batman accidentally jump universes and end up in Earth 11 where Batwoman and Superwoman are the main duo on their earth. Batwoman calls Batman "Bruce" and Bruce calls her "Helena". I don't think that is actually her name. She doesn't correct or affirm it. Batwoman calls Superwoman "Laurel".

This issue dropped in 2005. I believe it was just a throwaway Earth 11 story, because it wasn't talked about until Multiversity Guidebook in 2015. Where they say the origin of Earth 11 begins. They call Batwoman Kathy Kane and Superwoman (unknown Kent).

If you're still following me, I'm impressed, because I'm still confused.

Well anyway, the Batwoman character later becomes the Batwoman Who Laughs.

Nobody probably cares that they call 2015 Earth 11 the first appearance of said earth, but I will not agree to that. Earth 11 first appeared here in 2005. 'Nuff said.

I'm so confused. Time for a nap.

What's to be confused about? DC did these kind of things since the silver age. The McGuiness and Vines team is working with clocklike precision!

The Loeb/McGuinness Superman/Batman run was big at the time, and a lot of that hard to do with pages like this! SO cool seeing female versions of the DC super 2. Congrats!
