Description

This was used on the inside front cover of the issue, next to the table of contents. The printed version has wash tones, which I'm guessing were added onto a copy of the art by a Marvel staffer. (Let me know if you ever see a stat version of this with the ink wash somewhere.)

This came up as a featured artwork on my CAF homepage. So glad that it did!

I remember enjoying this in the magazine when it came out. Dynamic Gill Kane example. The ominous wizard overlooks the impending doom he cast our heroic pair into.
