Description

At the end of the first day of Paris Comics Expo, Alan Davis declined doing Galactus as he was a bit too tired for it, and I asked him to do Hawkeye instead.
The next morning, he recognized me instantly and proceeded to draw Galactus without me even asking him to. A most gracious artist.

Fast Forward 3 years later. I get to meet Mark Farmer, who inked most of the best work by Alan Davis and I bring him my Alan Davis pieces. Not only is he one of the best inkers in the business, but he also is the nicest and most interesting and curious guy. We had a great time chatting, it was a wonderful experience and I now have great portraits from one of the best combo in comics.
