Description

A stunningly carefully crafted recreation of Harvey Kurtzman's inside joke to Stan Lee drawn originally by Kurtzman in 1949. Stan Lee had decided that the "Hey Look!" fillers had run their course and wanted Kurtzman top begin doing longer features for Timely. This was Kurtzman's response.

Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board by Bruce McCorkindale.
