This was originally intended for Marvel's Godzilla series, like the Ditko Dragon Lord cover, right? Well, even if not, this is pretty awesome. Big congrats Steve!

Killer Weird War Tales cover from the great Joe Kubert. No Sgt. Rock this time, just a monster named Rotirra! As if the Allies didn't have enough enemies already. Love this scene of the monster lifting up a PT Boat and attempting to snack on the sailors. These are the kinds of comics I loved to read as a kid. Funny to think on that now.
