Description

The Beast arises!!! And after knowing the whole story the little inset of Shilo juxtaposed with the beast makes that bottom panel more compelling.
edit-only took several years but finally added a decent scan

I really like how this page is laid out. Speed lines and visual sounds effects along with a huge inked in creeature towering over a unshadowed character. Nice page.

Yeah this page has a bit of everything that is good in Extremity- the main characters, monsters, a robot and fun story telling beats- oddly enough it was not the page i was going for in the issue, but after i saw it - it was my favorite page from #9 in B/W and pulled the trigger. It was also twice as much as I wanted to spend but worth every penny.

Congratulations on having such an excellent piece from a timeless story. The finishes on that monster are top tier, with his cross-hatching giving it an extra dimension. Also, that hand-lettered THOOM belongs in a museum - it's so good haha.
