Awesome pickup! Dan Smith has recently become a favorite of mine, he deserves much more recognition!

You can feel the power of the horse and the freedom of the rider on this mid jump. The study of how horses moved from walk, trot, gallop to a jump must have taken Smith a lot of observaton to master how the musclature should work and how they could be presented with such realism and detail.
