Description

Very happy to add this lovely Geof Darrow artwork to my collection! I was a huge fan of the book, when it was first published.. And I think I even met Darrow at a book-signing tour for the project, at Toronto's 'The BEGUILING' -- my go-to comic shop, at that time.. Was fortunate enough to pick up some of the original pencil panels from those books, awhile back.. But was always hankering for a nice clean image that featured Darrow's inks on bristol board. So, when this example popped up recently on one of the "Dueling Dealers" episodes on YouTube, I couldn't help but pull the trigger on it: "CLAIM 3A"! Thanks, to Bill Cox and Mike Burkey!!

So clean with the intircate linework where Darrow's control of the brush is precise. For every stroke he lays down is as intended.

Great Darrow! The smoke billows from the gun barrel as if it were a cabin chimney in the woods.
