Description

Excellent example of 50's Kelly Freas (the "dreaming man" reminds me of his Alfred E Neuman renderings for MAD). This cover image for IF Magazine (Feb. 1959) illustrates the Fritz Leiber story. I recently re-read the story. It is quite funny and surreal! This image is taken from a specific moment in the story -- as the tiny cloned "Sirens" in the plumbing cause him "pleasant dreams".

Agreed. I recently read the short story this is based on and the image is actually VERY accurate to the book!
