Description

SO I have always wanted to have some Val Mayerik art in my collection. The headache was I wanted Val on pencil and inks. Much of his work in mainstream comics that shows up for sale had inkers who made his art lose all the elements of his style that I love. HIs art has a great deal of flair to it. I can't find the exact right word, but it is has both a style and pizazz. This 4 pager has tons of detail and great body language. The man knows how to tell a story.

As happenstance would have it at the same time I inquired about this 4 page story there was a 7 page story that Romitaman (Mike Burkey) had that I was able to get and will post at a later date.

I went from 0 to 11 pages of Val's work in a blink of an eye. I got lucky.

Very nice credits crossword. The Mayerik storytelling is for this crime noir gumshoe story as a great get for Eclipse who published with the nicer paperstock to capture more of what is here.
