Description

Not a complete story but will be posting all 7 pages from this little horror story by Steve Gerber and Val Mayerick. This is from Eclipse Magazine issue #3 from why back in 1981. 40 plus years time does fly.

Just beautiful work by Val Mayerick, whose strength was detail and story telling. I feel like to only inker for Val was Val himself. I'm not sure if any of his mainstream work was every Val doing his own inks.

The rest of the pages are great stuff as well.

Mayerik excels when he got to do horror and fantasy work. His line and brushwork was right up there with how you can feel all the fear and dread within these pages.
