Description

Nice page from the early Madam Xanadu series in 1978. Story was entitled Blood Red Tear. I was actually intrigued by panel 4 as an early depiction of Madam Xanadu who has slowly gone from DC obscure character to one now at least B list.

Never a huge fan of Ric Estrada but like many of the older artist he did solid work. This page I think suits his style better as I felt he was best suited for romance comics - but he did plenty of great work everywhere.

As I have gotten into comic art I have learned to appreciated many artists whose work when I was younger I did not appreciate.
