DescriptionPosting in honor of the new Eternals movie coming out. I doubt he's featured in the movie, but this is the first page "birth page" appearance of Karkas the Deviant. This issue also features the first appearance of Ransak the Reject. I once owned several Kirby Eternals pages (and even a cover), but sadly this is the only one I have left.Sorry for the low-res scan. I scanned this about 10 years ago and need to dig up the art to do a better scan one of these days. Social/Sharing |

Kirby knows how to present an introduction and a cliffhanger all on the same page. Very well crafted and full of that legendary Kirby energy in the designs!

Kirby Eternals for the win! Wow, this is a GREAT page. No Hulk but I am still green with envy. Congrats Ted, thanks for sharing!

I think Karkas and the Reject were the two best characters that Kirby created for the series. It's a shame if the movie doesn't delve into the workings of Deviant society as Jack and later writers did. This is an A+ page in my book.

I liked these two characters as well - very memorable interaction - great end page!

Here's Kirby! I love his busting through stuff character into pages. WHAMMO! and here's the awesome. The man was without peer. I really wish they'd delved into Kirby's Eternal world in the movie, or used some of his designs, but they didn't. A mistake, imo. But there's no mistaking this great page from Kirby and Royer. Magic stuff. Congrats!

Way to close the issue out! Each panel is a splash unto itself! Classic Kirby goodness. Congrats, Ted!
