Description

Now that I�ve been able to finally secure a Murphy Chrononauts page, this story can finally be told.

Prior to 2018, I had danced around the idea of eventually picking up a Chrononauts page from Murphy�s former Art Rep Essential Sequential (it�s been awhile, but I�m pretty sure it was them). However, I could never decide on any of the remaining available pages for a number of reasons (e.g., cost or personal esthetics like �they aren�t wearing their Chronosuits in this one.�). With all of that in mind, I decided to put off getting the page to a later date.

On March 9, 2018, Sean Gordon Murphy announced on his Twitter feed that he had just sold his entire catalogue of non-Batman pages to a single buyer. This would mean that all of his Chrononauts, Tokyo Ghost, American Vampire, Joe The Barbarian, and Punk Rock Jesus art were gone.

The moment I read that tweet, all of those Chrononauts pages that I didn�t like before suddenly didn�t look so bad.

Over the years, I�ve kept an eye out for one and finally my perseverance paid off.
