DescriptionIn the early '90s, I was in that grey area between the end of my academic education and the beginning of what would become my lifelong career, so I needed a way to escape all the pressures of that transition. The Spider-Man 2099 series was perfect for that very thing. I absolutely loved reading those comic books.So years later, when I ventured into the world of original comic art, finding excellent examples from that run became one of my primary goals. So ... I was EXTREMELY happy to pick up this splashy 2-panel page with such great images of Spidey 2099. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

My Spidey 2099 senses are tingling! Terrific splash! I have yet to get some Spidey 2099 art, but I hope to get some soon!

does one turn deserve another? yes. yes it does. specially when it's a pair of Spidey 2099. this really is a throwback for me as this may be my favorite 2099 series.

It's great that you get two large Spidey images, but what really makes this piece truly great is the incredible blending of Williamson's inks with Leonardi's pencils. Absolutely symbiotic relationship between them both. Sublime!

Two cover worthy images used here! Williamson inks gives it the futuristic sheen with his sharpness over these definitive character pieces!

Spidey 2099 pages are not very common so finding this excellent example must have been a great surprise. Congrats, thanks for sharing!

Love the poses! Leonardi drew Spidey 2099 as very flexible which allowed for a great variety of movement. Just a wonderful pick up Paul. Congrats!!

You are KILLING me with this one, man. Hard to top example from Spidey 2099, and that includes all the covers. Just an outstanding dual splash page with prime shots of Miguel! I'm starting to Hulk out over here. GREEN with envy. Whew. Leonardi/Williamson...a dynamic duo that can do no wrong. Huge congrats, my friend!

Finger Claws! I know they're supposed be more like spider hairs, but I really liked how they conceptualized his wall climbing powers here. And that suit! Spidey 2099 was such a fantastic concept. Future Spidey with newish powers, and all those great futuristic plotlines and generational baddies. So much fun. And you got the perfect page, too. Big congrats!
