Description19 x 24One of Paul Pope's greatest covers. So happy to have this piece from probably the best artist to do LWC in modern times. Paul mixed up themes from the movies as well as the book to create a study in contrast and violence. Your description is spot on. Pope's best cover and the best modern take on LWC. Congrats on adding another special piece to your fantastic collection!

A great piece, Pope is perfect for this. I have never read LWC. However I did take advantage of this last comixology sale so it's in the ever increasing read pile ;)

Definitely one of his best images. The victor, contemplating, amongst the slain defeated. So indicative of the Lone Wolf and Cub as a single image. Also so much great detailing from corner to corner. BIG congrats, bud!

Justice! Few artists can do right by Kojima and Pope's work here elevates the original material with his brazen style and aesthetics. One of the best things Paul has ever done and you are fortunate to be its caretaker. I hope it finds a place on your walls.

Congratulations on picking this up! Pope's work on LWC has been historic - and this cover in particular. He captures the characters and feeling so well.

Absolutely stunning. The Road of Meifumado, literally, and Itto's place on it - paved with the bodies of those who ultimately fueled his journey. His back is turned to every viewer - he's left us and any earthly concern of safety, hope, or a future behind, without a backwards glance, even dragging his son with him into the maw of vengeance and honor. The entire essence of 'Lone Wolf and Cub' in one single image. Chilling. Tragic. Glorious.
