Description

19 x 24 board, maybe 12 x 19 image.

Always struck by the creepiness of this cover combined with a unmistakable Pope style. I love how the character is a bit cartoonier than what we normally see from Pope. The Alien structure brings an abstract art look in black and white.

As people know, I'm a huge Pope fan and always extremely pleased when I can add any piece from the modern master to the collection.

That is a beautiful piece of art! The emotion in her face really reads. Great choice to go with a profile, and keeping the head so low on the page, and what a fantastic background/environment

Pope in the space horror genre hits the right vibe of the Prometheus / Alien universe. It might be his only contributuion, but he sure makes an impact!

Congratulations on adding this one to your collection, man! I love the background, as it makes me keep staring at it to try and figure out what the hell is going on and then leads me to look at the concerned facial expression the yoiung girl has on her face. Really cool!
