DescriptionI’ve dreamt of one day owning a page from X-men 94 and here it is.. What I like so much about the page besides it being a page from a major Key Marvel book..It’s a Key moment where we witness Cyclops’s emotional essential inner world that leads him to deciding to stay with the team..as we also witness the moment the rest of the original x-men are leaving..which is the key transitional moment of the series saying the original x-men within the series has ended and the new team is coming in..And the most major Gem to me is actually getting the showcasing of Scott and Jean’s passion for one another..a depiction of their depth of love. Mutual I love you’s with a full on kiss between Marvel’s most major mutant couple and the one that had the most romance drama and feelings to it in my opinion. It is likely the earliest and first time we get mutual I love you’s and a kiss between them on the same page of an X-men comic.. For all-of you x-men aficionados out there feel free to chime in on this..but to me it’s likely the first time..and even so..how many times do we even get that in future X-men comics? Maybe its time we talk about love between superhero’s ..I guess I’m having a Marvel Looove moment myself.. Social/Sharing |

The sequence of the last four panels is true storytelling. Even without the dialogue you know what is happening.

Thanks K, I really appreciate it. It’s def meaningful to me to have a page from the book but one that has this kind of a moment makes it extra special.

Welcome to the 94 club. Since another CAF member has attempted and tried to put this book back together over the years, these pages are not easy to acquire. Congratulations on having the resources to add this stellar page to your collection.

I was the original owner of this X-Men 94 page. Bought it directly from Dave Cockrum at a NYC comic Con in 1974/75 when I was 15 or 16 years old. I bought it from Dave personally for $20 and had him sign it ( so the signature is authentic). I was upset at the time that Dave went from doing the Legion of Super-Heroes at DC to Marvel to do the X-Men. I said "No one will even know who the X-Men are in 5 years". He was selling other X-men issue 94 and Giant size X-Men 1 pages. years later (2000/2001) sold the page for 100 on yahoo auctions. I am "marginally" upset that I didn't make the big money yet more happy a TRUE fan got it. I was never an X-men fan more a Dave cockrum artist fan. I still have Dave Cockrum Legion sketches which can be seen on my FACEBOOK page under albums. I still have apage from Dave from Avengers 124. Good Luck.

For the Uncanny X-men generation fans, this is the issue to have a page from maybe even more than Giant Size 1. Congrats on this amazing page.

In many ways yes..since this is the transition book..The clash of the old vs new and the drama of it all makes it very memorable
