Description

Those 1970s covers featuring the heroes being defeated by villains were always eye-catchers for me and they compelled me to buy the comic book. In thinking about my next commission by the ultra talented painter/artist John Watson this was the theme and the scene that I envisioned in my head. Watson brought my commission idea to life with vibrant colors and a perfect depiction of the characters.

My idea was to have regular Legion of Doom characters (Joker, Lex Luther, Solomon Grundy, Captain Cold, Bizarro Superman and Sinestro) combined with sometimes member Reverse Flash defeat the JUstice League of America (Superman, Barry Allen Flash, Hal Jordan Green Lantern and Batman). The setting was outside of Gotham City in Slaughter Swamp with the Hall of Doom in the background.

100% satisfied with the artwork and working with John Watson to create this masterpiece!

The painting draws you in presenting the heroes routed in such a dramatic manner! The colors of the characters pop amidst the setting and the Hall of Doom in the background.
