Description

38.75" x 26.75" by Bob Layzell. Original acrylic painting on board. Painted in 2014.

An expanded concept of a published cover that had only a green fog background with this spaceship but no surrounding environment or context. Bob expands the concept of his original vintage cover with a dramatic "alien world", filled with a variety of bizarre flora and fauna that the survivor of the long ago downed craft has made his camp in.

The lighting and detail of this piece is superb and the painting is a large epic piece that can be admired from far across a room.
