From concept to ultimate completion, you can tell Perkins went all out for this high adrenaline masterpiece!

Really fabulous, as were all the pieces Mike illustrated for the Paris exhibit. It never ceases to amaze me how Mike will go all out and fully delineate every single figure in a crowded scene like this. He sure doesn't skimp!

Yes! Mike's work that I've seen is all self-finished, and he puts tremendous effort into the background details as well. He doesn't rely on the colorist to provide texture like many modern artists.
