Description

I was immediately taken by Rosenberg's and Land's run on Astonishing X-Men. Havok is one of my all-time favourite X-Men, and the presence of Colossus and Dazzler, plus the Reavers as villains, harkens back to the outback period of Uncanny, possibly my favourite period on the title.

Going back to the classic Havok outfit (with some updates here and there...) was a stroke of genius, many kudos to Matt and Greg for it. And this cover features the Adms-ean Havok power signature effect, and has an interesting '70s retro-psychedelic feel.

Great Land cover. Love how the Havok effect serves as the backdrop for the whole piece.

Gorgeous! Often the classic costume is the way to go...a lot of modern takes have over complicated things, in my opinion. Pouches, seam lines, armor, straps, etc.
