DescriptionPencil and ink sketch in the Justice League Archives Volume 8. Jerry did a wonderful adaptation of his cover for the "JLA Hereby Elects" trade, minus Red Tornado. This was Zatanna's costume when she first joined the Justice League in issue 161 from December 1978. This volume of the Justice League Archives features earlier stories than that. SInce the dust jacket was illustrated by Jerry Ordway, I wanted to have a couple JLA sketches by him in this volume.The remarque of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman on the title page where Jerry is credited is another nice addition to this book. it has also been signed by some of the writers and artists who worked on the stories in this volume, including Carmine Infantino, Julie Schwartz, Murphy Anderson, Joe Giella, Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams.
