My first thought here was 'Wow! This sketch really captures the image of 70's bronze age Hal.' It looked so familiar. Then it hit me why and a bit of research confirmed. This is actually a larger recreation of the torso of Green Lantern from the cover of DC Special #17. Very cool! You've got good eyes. That's definitely a classic cover by Mike Grell...and the inspiration for this piece! Glad you like it. |
