Description

This is one of the original Topps 1965 series Ugly Stickers character painted by Norman Saunders. I'm told by Mr. Saunders son David, that the Wally Wood designed characters for this series were submitted to Topps as pencil drawings, and upon approval were handed over to Norman to be painted over to create the final piece. It's very obvious on first glance to see it's a Wally Wood styled character, but you can also see Norman's painting style as well.
