DescriptionIf you need to go through the greatest covers of the Super Powers era, this is at the top, if not THE top. Campy, yet maniacally unsettling.With Colan doing the interiors showing Joker’s plans for overthrowing Guatemala to turn into Joker-Land, he already had a solid idea for how this Joker-train would look, and the cover depiction shows that fully-formed concept to perfection. Fun fact: the smoke rings are down onto the logo stat and continued onto the page, but I am not prying off the stat to look if they are all on the page… Thanks to Vilas and team for parting with this gem, an elusive cover that I have been hunting for since I started collecting OA. It goes to a home that will treasure it and display it proudly. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the art for the interior page with the Joker train, let me know for a very healthy offer! I love Gene Colan and this is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) covers by him. Incredible in so many ways!!!

Thanks Nick! I am sure the guys who did the "Three Jokers" series last year are 100% NOT okay with that as canon! Made me laugh though!

I know Batman is in peril,but this piece just makes me laugh everytime I see it ! Such a cool and fun piece,congrats!
