I've been wanting to add one of Bruce's girls to my collection since at least 2012 or so when the Naughty and Nice book and teasers were published. I've seen a few pieces I would have loved to have over the years but I always seemed to find them after they had already sold. That changed when I saw this piece listed on eBay. I watched the piece as soon as I saw it and just waited to snipe at the end. When the auction was finally ending I wasn't around my computer so I had to place a bid on my phone. With 5 seconds left the piece was still at the opening bid so I placed it and much to my dismay the bid didn't go through but instead loaded a page saying my session was expired. Luckily no one else had bid on the piece so I decided to contact the seller and ask if they would be willing to sell it for the opening bid since that was what it would have sold at. Thankfully for me the seller said that would be fine and ended the relisted auction to sell to the current high bidder who was of course me.

When I saw this piece it was love at first sight and I knew it was just the piece I had been waiting for all these years. To me this is the perfect example of one of Bruce's girls short of being a color piece. You have an absolutely adorable female in a seductive yet very tasteful pose without any actual nudity. That's something you don't find in a lot of Bruce's pieces. Not that there is anything wrong with that since I have plenty of nudes in my collection as it is but that drew me to this particular piece. But honestly who can resist a cutie like her. She just has such a sweet demeanor with a touch of her naughty side showing that immediately draws the viewers gaze. Who wouldn't want to get to know this lovely lady? Bruce's linework is just phenomenal. I love everything about the piece from her seductive bedroom eyes down to the background. I honestly don't think you can get a much better example of his pen and ink work. Just an all around amazing example that I couldn't be more thrilled to have in my collection.

I'm not sure if the piece is published since I don't have any of his sketchbooks before the Naughty and Nice book and teasers but I know it isn't in those. If you know of it being published in one of his earlier sketchbooks I would love to know about it.
