Description

The credits on the comic state Severin and Wood as "artists". I am not an expert enough on either's work to tell who did what exactly, but I think Wood's input was well beyond a mere inking job.

In any case, I find that this page has a great noir feel, beautiful layouts, thick, deep inks, and features a very Wood-ean, beautiful female character. I absolutely love the top close-ups and of course the last panel.

I wish the collaboration between these two amazing artists had produced more issues!

Marie usually did pretty tight pencil layouts, but Wood clearly had a major influence on the finished product here. Marie used to comment about Wood, "He always made the women look so sexy."
