I try to be rather narrow in my focus� I learned early on in this hobby you can�t collect everything.. but do you ever just happen upon a piece you know nothing about� that is totally out of your scope of collecting� but just still have to add it?? That happened with this one at Heroes Con this year.. thumbing through Charles Vess portfolio and saw this .. it just struck me.. how is it possible to create this from pencil??? I asked about it and Charles gave me the background. It was done for a Wheel Of Time novel.. but the authors wife thought his style didn�t work for the book. Not sure how anyone could reject Charles Vess � but I�m happy it will now be on my wall lol.

Great series by Robert Jordan. This looks like when the Trollocs barrel through Two Rivers (I think, its been alot of years since i read it) looking for Rand. Very cool piece.
