Description

My first Templesmith! I asked for The Joker as well. Ben didn't want to do a fight scene, so he made it more moody. But he could draw the them laughing together (a la The Killing Joke scene) and still make it look creepy and cool. Also, the first two-character piece in my Batman sketchbook.

Templesmith is so great. I love that he is creating more superhero and villain artwork instead of just horror pieces. Great request and superb execution!

Thanks for all the kind comments! Templesmith's cool, macabre style may not be for most superhero characters, but it definitely lends itself to Bats!
