Description

I love Mick’s artwork. He was one of the many extraordinary talents whose work filled the pages of 2000AD in it’s formative years, notably providing the art for the first Judge Dredd strip to see print, and later producing the definitive version of Slaine, the celtic warrior king. His style is unmistakeable, even as it continues to evolve.

As part of the ’40 Years of 2000AD’ celebrations Vice Press produced limited edition prints of two newly commissioned pieces of 2000AD-themed artwork from Mick, and I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to get hold of this one - Mick’s take on Nemesis the Warlock.

Great piece, nearly purchased this two years ago. Went instead, for the Slaine artwork which was on sale at the same time. Fantastic art - great detail. McMahon at his best
