Description

A trip down memory lane for me this one. Bob Wakelin airbrushed cover to UK Thor weekly comic from 1983 , the painting is lovely and to only have it produced in such a small scale on the cover is a travesty , but it goes to show how important 'free gifts' were at the time to us young brits! Space Spinners , Vampire teeth , masks , and yes stickers!

The covers and occasional posters were the only highlight of these truly awfully printed comic.The people who unleashed these should have been shot.I bought them so just had to say it.Wakelin did beautiful work.

Wow, congratulations on owning such a wonderful piece ! I remeber picking this issue up from my local newsagent, reading it and spending hours copying the artwork. Thanks for sharing :)
