Dylan Burnett - X-Force #3 p 1

Dylan Burnett is an absolute rock star. His work is an amazing blend of surrealism and expressionism, making each and every panel explode with action, energy, and emotion. He has become one of the youngest, fastest rising stars with the success he has had on Marvel's Cosmic Ghost Rider, X-Force, and Ant-Man.

I am very happy to own a few pages from his X-Force series. When I was a kid, X-Men titles always drew my attention most, so you can imagine my excitement combing through this series with Dylan drawing some of my childhood favorites.

No scans can do this splash of Domino, Cable, Warpath, and Cannonball justice. Dylan's inks are slapped and smeared across the page, and while they rendered well onto the published page, they are something to behold in person. Every brush stroke was calculated and precise to create a great, readable composition, but was done with such energy and ferocity that the explosions jump off the paper. Amazing stuff! Might be the page I revisit most.
