Ed McGuinness - Nova Vol 5 #2 p 11

Couldn�t be more excited to add this fun page of Sam Alexander learning to fly, and failing at that. The splashy layout with fully inked backgrounds drew me in, but the cartoony facial expressions and Sam�s struggle is what made this a must have - even superheroes have tough days!

Make my way back home when I learn to fly high.

Fantastic early issue for Sam. McGuinness goes a great job against type when he draws Nova as opposed to the muscle bound behemoths he is known for. It demonstrates a lot of storytelling in his game.

This Wil E Coyote moment always makes me laugh. Fantastic comedic timing and a great panel of Nova. Ed draws that costume best!
