DescriptionAdam Gorham - Darth Vader #42 p 10-11So I have been on the hunt for a nice, accessible Star Wars piece pretty much since I started collecting original art. Didn’t have anything specific in mind, just something representative of a property that captured so much of my attention and imagination as a kid. As I was checking in on some of my favorite dealers sites seeing what might be still available (gotta check inventory every now and then), I spotted this DPS by Gorham sitting all alone by itself. I was floored. I checked my bank account and then pretty much immediately bought it. I thought it was a bit strange to have it present without any other pages from the issue. Only days later, the entire issue’s worth of art dropped with announcements on all platforms. I think that as they were setting up the drop, this piece was erroneously live—luckily they accepted my order and now it’s in hand! Somehow it’s even better in person with beautiful washes and edge to edge ink. Instantly one of my favorite pieces. 11x17 on art board (landscape); Marvel Comics Social/Sharing |

It was fate that you didn't have to duel for this showcase piece of the issue and the showcase of Gorham's art! The Force works in mysterious ways!

An epic battle montage and a damaged Vader still wielding the dark side. What more could you want? Adam has been stellar shouldering full art duties on this issue. The Force is strong with this one!
