Description

John Romita Jr and Scott Hanna post-battle page from 2012's AvX #3 featuring a falling Wolverine, kicked out of a Quinjet by Giant-Man after a savage battle with Captain America who is shown recovering from claw wounds, and discussing the next move with Sharon Carter. Always loved JRJR's take on Cap and pleased to have this example even if it doesn't features Cap in a triumphant or dynamic pose I usually prefer.

I have to agree. I love modern pages without the word balloons because it lets the art do all of the talking. And this page says a lot. I've never read this comic, but the narrative from panel 1 to that last panel is so B.A. We know what just went down between Wolvie and Cap and the final panel featuring Cap's winded, tired face fuels our imaginations to envision what that tussle looked like on the preceding pages.
