DescriptionA massively depowered and p*ssed-off Hulk literally rips the spine and skull from the devil-possessed Crusher Creel and uses them as a makeshift Wrecking Ball to smash him to pieces!Superb splash-style battle page from the EPIC Immortal Hulk storyline - destined to be up there with the all-time classics. If you haven't read this great run, treat yourself and get stuck in. This has all the bells and whistles, with some classy callbacks to the best Hulk stories ever. It also mixes in some strong horror elements, with more than a dash of Jekyll & Hyde, E.C. Comics and a real Wrightsonesque feel to the fantastic linework. Thanks T! Coming from someone with a Hulk Gallery as extensive as yours, that's praise indeed! I'm so impressed by the Immortal Hulk run, it's breathed new life into the Green Goliath and added some rich texture to his history. Every dyed-in-the-wool Hulkophile should have one of Bennett's beauties in their collection.

Great page!!! The Absorbing Man vs Hulk is what drew me and the horror aspect just puts things over the top.

Thanks Ken - well your Immortal Hulk collection is amazing, so I'm glad I managed to grab a nice Bennett battle page while I could! The horror elements to this story are a great twist and also a perfect fit for the Hulk. And man, do they add some glorious Ooomph to the artwork!

This really has been a great run with so much being added to the Hulk mythos including some crazily horrific (in a good way!) images...like here! Love the pages with a nice splashy image AND some storytelling panels! Congrats!

I absolutely agree - the Immortal Hulk by Ewing and Bennett is going to stand proud as one of THE all-time greatest runs - it's punchy in so many ways...loads of twists and turns...great characterisation...shocking body horror and redefinition of the relationships between the many facets of Bruce Banner and the Hulk!
Watch this space...there's more amazing Bennett art to come soon!
