Description

Another epic scene from the finest hulk run ever, and a truly brutal one.

Moments after smashing back through Hell's Green Door after the U-Foes have killed the greatly diminished Savage Hulk, Joe Fixit, now empowered by both gamma and cosmic radiation, takes obvious pleasure in effortlessly mauling Ironclad - to the point of wrecking his hand and then his face.
Joe Bennett's depiction of body horror in this series was something new, fresh and constantly surprising. Not only has Bennett mastered anatomy to the point where he can make the thousand natural shocks which flesh is heir to utterly convincing, but the expressions tell the story so eloquently. Fixit is unleashing his inner sadist, and the results for his enemies are terrifying...

Thanks Daniele! Yep, I love the Immortal Hulk run, had to have something from the U-Foes issues! Always fun to see Hulk hand them their assets...and this was one of his more brutal takedowns. Poor Ironclad!
