DescriptionI was a big fan of Miles Morales from the moment I turned the page on Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man; seeing the character develop over the years and finally join the mainstream Marvel Universe has been a thrill. The hilight however, was when Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hit theaters and I was able to share what quickly become a favorite film with my three kids. Seeing the unsure Miles come into his own as Spider-Man on screen was a real treat as was getting Jim Towe to work on this piece for me. Jim is one of those up-and-coming artists that puts his all into every piece he creates and has come into his own himself. From his early work on Youngblood's revival to his current run on Spider-Man/Deadpool, Jim is becoming a force in the industry. If you haven't picked up a piece of his published art or looked in getting a commission from him through Cadence Come Art, now's the time. Jim nailed every aspect I was looking for on this piece and captured the soul of Miles Morales from Into the Spider-Verse down to his Air Jordan 1s!Social/Sharing |
