There's a real raw energy to this style that really works for the character.

Yup I was there at the auction, and loved the colors here.  It's like the symbiote is moving in a swirly motion.  GREAT stuff by Josh, as per usual!  Congrats!

I was hired by the Marvel cosmic office of Craig Anderson through Jim Starlin in 1991-1992. Almost every assignment I did through 1995 was from this office, most notably Jim's Warlock & the Infinity Watch, but also Gaurdians, Silver Surfer, Cosmic Powers (inking Ron), Starmasters, CP Unlimited, etc. so whether planned by Joshua or pure luck, he got 2 artists with familarality with this area of the MCU. But admittedly, I don't have as much of Ron's output on such issues.

Looks perfect with the way his posture conveys the Mr. Knight personality.  The intricate work on the throne is a nice contrast to the full white suit. 

Thanks for yet again opening my eyes to another artist I never heard of.  Just a great, great, piece.  Love all the insane detail of course.  I think it's so cool how you find all these hidden talents to add to you incredible theme collection.

Even with the vastness of space, Eaton sticks with the tight claustrophobic feel established at the top of the page for the bunched up formation of the sentinels.  They should be easy pickings if they can't get out of each other's way.  

Wow!!!!!  I love the almost cinematic lighting of this.  Especially the foggy backlighting from those windows in the back. It sets such a great mood for the piece.  I actually have no idea who the artist is, but he's incredibly talented.  So much fun watching your theme collection grow.  Anyway, another instant favorite for me.  Congrats buddy!

The ease with which she sits is so confident like a queen.  Are you sure this isn't the Skrull princess who has now inflitrated your Iron Throne collection?

Yeah baby!  Now you're talkin'!  I love Arthur's LS series, and it's obvious that Chris does too!  What an incredible battle scene.  So happy to see that your GoT theme has been revitilized with this interesting new twist.  You'll be hitting that 200 mark before you know it.  

Ha!  Is it just me, or are you actually going at a faster clip than with your first 100 commissions?  And here you said you would never make it to 200.  Oh ye of little faith.  Go Doc Go!

Congrats on 100 wonderfully creative and imaginative theme pieces.  It's been so much fun watching this collection grow.  Don't know if you have it in you to go for another hundred, but I'll be along for the ride as long as it lasts.

I ain't gonna lie, I was a little bummed when you mentioned possibly ending at 100 as that meant no more pieces to look at. But that's a selfish motivation and I was happy for you to have amassed such an impressive theme ending at the 100 mark. Here's to another 100! Great piece Josh - love this piece!

So glad you included a shot of the prelim, because it is so night and day.  I really love the way he brought the piece to life from that simple concept drawing.  Love the pose, love the facial expression, and love the heavy use of blacks.  He turned a prelim drawing that, honestly, left me a bit cold, into one of my favorites from your incredible throne theme collection. Congrats buddy!
