Description

Frank Castle wages his one-man war against crime in this homage to The Punisher's Bronze Age. Although there is no date to this piece, Gray Morrow likely rendered this twenty years after he painted the cover to Marvel Preview #2 (July 1975) which first told the origin of The Punisher.

Cool! I like the layout, movie poster like, and the juxtapostion of colors really makes the whole image pop! Congrats!

Wow! Killer Punisher illustration by Gray Morrow! Looks like a movie poster for a James Bond flick, doesn't it? Love the different images collaged together. Great drawings of the Punisher himself, gun drawn and ready for action! Above him, the classic skull symbol of the Punisher. Then a cool image of Jigsaw looking smug and nasty. A suspicious spy in a trench coat with with crosshairs picking him out. Plus a hot looking swimsuit model sitting on the barrel of a gun (I did mention it looks like a James Bond movie poster, didn't I?). If this were a poster for a new movie about Frank Castle, I'd be in line at the theater already. But since it's not, I'll just lay on my couch, read a few Punisher comics and dream up my own.
