DescriptionI knew exactly what to expect after seeing him on so many Utube videos and hearing him on podcasts, etc., but it was still an amazing experience to meet DWJ and find that he is as wonderful in person as you'd guess from the internet --- as fan friendly, generous, and open as any of my artistic heroes. Speaking of Heroes, I look forward to seeing him at future shows!BTW, if you still haven't read Murder Falcon, grab this hardcover while it lasts and settle in for an awesome reading experience. That's what I call a remarque! Dan seems so down to Earth, glad you had a good experience. Congrats!

Always good to see an artist put in an effort on a remarque. Great new intro to your book!

There's a wonderful energy here that belies the looseness of the drawing. As far as remarques go, this is above and beyond.

Damn! Did HE call it a remarque, or are YOU just using that word and underselling it like you did the Krenkel? Come on, bro! That's almost a full blown, completed illustration! Sweet!

As I mentioned, DWJ is a generous soul! He cranked out these edge-to-edge DPS "remarques" in one hardback per customer for everyone who walked up to the signing table, complete with atmospherics and lightening etc. as you see here. Incredible. He prefaced some of them with a disclaimer like, "These don't always work out...", but from what I saw, they always worked out.

That's a remarque like I'm a little bit into comics. NOPE! That's almost a full illustration, as Rubén said. What a nice guy! Man, I dig his style. Every piece has so much character and energy. I've never checked out murder falcon, but with a sweet name like that, I'm going to now. Great get. Congrats!
