James Jean is by far my favorite artist. I have so many of his prints and books. There's just something so unique and interesting with everything that James creates.

I have never had any real notion of owning actual original work created by James' hand - it's all so expensive and it rarely hits the market. Well, somehow all of the stars aligned and this piece was listed for sale as I happened to have enough to afford it.

This goes hand in hand with me trying to make a collection of The Endless from Neil Gaiman's Sandman. How can I get a better Morpheus than work for Neil's return to Sandman AND a published variant for James' return to comic books?! I don't think I could do better, for less than the cost of my house.

It's been really nice looking at social media from James and others about this exact piece.

Nice one! James captured Dream perfectly. I'm sure it wasn't easy to obtain this piece.

Congrats on picking this up! I had my eye on it too (hoping to own a James Jean original one day) but didn't have enough connection to the material to bid as high; glad to see it found a good home though!
