DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale "what if" version of the cover to ADVENTURE COMICS #367 based on splash page art by Curt Swan and George Klein. Pen, brush and ink on 13" X 20" Bristol board.As much admiration as I have for Neal Adams, I always loved this splash page more than Neal's cover. I also suggested the larger trade dress for ADVENTURE COMICS logo, as I like it better. Bruce added some villains at the upper left, moved Duo Damsel at the lower left down a bit, and added a caption based on the story title. Social/Sharing |

I would imagine that Swan and Klein made the splash to be their cover since the title page was typically done that way back then. McCorkindale does bring that silver age feel and this is a good choice since there is more detailed work here than on the cover.
